A typical first building block like "Decompression Procedures" already demands at least 25 logged dives, legal age and a nitrox certification, plus four dives within the course itself, two of them deeper than 30 meters. That's no coincidence: every stage deliberately builds on an automated skill from before.
And the cost? A single course day runs roughly between 300 and 900 US dollars at many providers, depending on group size and region — plus gear you mostly buy, not rent. Realistically, the road to your first "real" trimix card is more of a year-long project than a vacation program.
